We’ve started a new team tradition…
Each month, we hit pause on work and take it in turns to organise a team activity that showcases our passions and hobbies. It’s our way of sharing a bit about ourselves with the team, or a chance to try a new activity for fun.
It’s been a hit so far (particularly with Tom who relishes any opportunity to get competitive...) We’ve taken on the high walls and boulders at Up Climbing, created pottery masterpieces at Iris and Dora, practised our yoga poses and won tricks playing Euchre. We’ve got a street dancing class and epic Dungeons and Dragons quest planned too!
We believe in the importance of stepping out of our work roles to just be ourselves, together. It gives us the chance to connect, learn something new and laugh (sometimes at each other). We know that a social, fun environment is key to building a stronger, better team.
