Rachel Rogers has 24 years’ local architectural experience, planning and construction; she joined the profession in 1996 and completed a 5-year apprenticeship with a local architectural firm.
Rachel Qualified as an Architectural Technologist in 2001 and worked with a small number of local firms before starting The Drawing Room in September 2008.
The Drawing Room’s ethos is great design and construction support on a one to one basis, helping people to achieve a stunning result with their individual budgets and design briefs.
Since launching The Drawing Room Rachel has been involved with hundreds of projects involving both architecture and interior design.

Tom Bourgaize started his career as an apprentice in a local Architectural firm and now has 16 years’ architectural experience. Tom qualified with a first class honours degree in Architectural Technology with the London Southbank University in 2011.
In this time, he has worked on some landmark Guernsey projects ranging from seafront restaurants and wine tasting cellars to new low energy cliff top houses and a multimillion golf driving range. Tom is passionate that good architecture is a result of a team effort and the journey should be as memorable as the outcome. Tom’s professionalism and experience will help you to achieve your project aspirations with honesty and diligence through every stage.

Martyn Howes joined us at The Drawing Room as a Part II Architect in November 2020 with eight years' architectural experience in Guernsey. Martyn gained his Part III Architecture with a distinction in 2022 and was promoted to Associate Director in 2023.
Martyn’s passion is in contemporary design, the environment and using 3D renderings and virtual reality.
Inma Laio joined us at The Drawing Room as an Architectural Technologist in July 2021.
Inma qualified in Architectural Technology in 2010 at the University of La Coruna, Spain. Inma then went on to be recognised as a Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT) in 2023.
Leonie joined us at The Drawing Room as an Apprentice Architectural Technologist in September 2021.
Leonie has previously worked for a local structural engineering firm gaining experience in the construction industry. We are looking forward to helping her develop into a crucial team player.
Cheila joined us at The Drawing Room as an Architect in November 2021.
Cheila is a fully qualified Architect, completing her Masters in Architecture in Portugal and Greece. She brings with her experience practising in both Belgium and Portugal.
Zara joined us at The Drawing Room as an Apprentice Architectural Technician in January 2022.
Zara started in the industry in 2021 and continues her studies at the Guernsey College of Further Education alongside her training with us.
Tyler joined us at The Drawing Room as a freelance Architectural Technologist in July 2023 working from the UK.
Tyler completed a five-year apprenticeship with a local architecture firm in 2019. After more recently studying for a Master of Photography in Leeds, he is looking forward to returning to work within architecture to explore how these two industries intersect, combining his passions for both art and design.
Isaac joined us at The Drawing Room as an Apprentice Architectural Technician in August 2023.
Isaac started his architectural journey after completing his studies at Elizabeth College and is studying at the Guernsey College of Further Education alongside his training with us.
Harriet joined us as at The Drawing Room as our Studio Administrator in September 2023.
A decade of PR and marketing experience, working for the island’s largest PR agency and a number of high-profile clients, has equipped Harriet with a range of communications and organisational skills which transfer perfectly for the role of Studio Administrator. She has a degree in PR and is an accredited member of the CIPR.
